OUR PASTOR

 

Pastor Ernest Snead IV of Faithful Missionary Baptist Church, is a man after Gods own heart. He is the son of late Rev. Dr. Ernest Snead III and Mary Jo Snead, and brother to Pastor Carlos and Tramaine

Snead. He is the husband of Lady Korri Snead and father of Four daughters, Lauryn, Kiera, Gabrielle and Payton.

 

He is a 1999 graduate of William H Spencer High School in Columbus GA. During his high school years he received many awards and accolades. He was named the State of Georgia NAACP Youth of the

Year. He was also recognized nationally for exceptional service as a youth leader. In 1999 he was awarded the Yoshi Yama Award of Excellence and recognized by the United States House of

Representatives.

 

From 2001-2004 he served in the USAF where he travelled extensively, and also continued to receive numerous awards to include Airman of the Year for the command, and Airman below the Zone. He also served a tour of duty in Iraq as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. While

enlisted in the Air Force he heard the call from the Lord and decided to follow the voice of the Lord into Ministry. He was licensed and ordained by his Father in 2005.

 

On March 4, 2012 his father being led by God asked for the Church and its leadership to accept him as the Lead Pastor of the Church. Sadly two

days later Pastor Ernest Snead III passed away leaving the church in the hands of his son. Pastor Snead holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force. Wanting to be

better versed in the word of God he enrolled in Liberty University where he obtained a degree in Biblical studies and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Pastoral Leadership. He is a man of purpose and

vision with a zeal to follow and please God. He lives by the scripture Corinthians 2:5 “So that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.”
